This is going to get a very general write up of how I changed mine out.

1. Remove the passenger side tire.2. Remove the fans off the radiator. You will need to do this in order to make working room for the remove of the alternator.3. Remove the splash guards on the passenger side.4. Remove the serpentine belt. 5. Remove the 4 large bolts that are holding the a/c compressor in place.(Be care full with the lines, since you are nt going to disconnect them. You just want to be able to move the compressor around, so that the alternator can be dropped down. 6. Remove the bolts that are holding the alternator in and remove the wires from it. 7 Replace the new one and then put everything back on in reverse.

This is just of the top of my head. It should be able to get you where you need. It is not a hard job at all. I got mine done in 2 hrs, and I usually get sid tracked when working on my car.

Hope Helps.

Don't forget to disconnect the battery before working on the alternator, too.

Note: the fans do not need to be removed to get at the altenator.lossen the belt tensioner just enough to get the belt off. if you go to far, the adjustment nut can lock up and will not allow you to adjust to tighten the belt after the altenator is installed.
