Welcome to NICO!! I'm not sure, I'm sure many others have done this...I feel your pain . . I was recently quoted 832 bucks to replace two struts and one bearing plate on my 99.5... The total of parts is like 300 bucks.

The best I can personally offer is a factory service manual for your ride.

You'll need WinRAR to extract it - let me know if you want it in ZIP format.

Buy a Chilton's or Haynes for it and do it yourself. All it takes is a book. Local libraries may have copies you can borrow free, even.

I changed them on my 01 pathy. The idler pulleys have an adjustment nut under them. You have to loosen the pulleys first, then the adjustment nut.Loosen the pulley by turning the nut in the center of the pulley counter clockwise. (You do all of this from under the car.)Then, you can back out the adjustment nut to loosen the belt(s).Replace belts, turn the adjustment nuts to desired tension, and then tighten the pulley nuts(in the center of the pulley).

This is assuming your drive belt config. is the same as mine.(The two idler pulleys should have a bracket under them with the adjustment nuts)If it is, piece of cake!
