I began moving into the new raceshop and decided to sort thru the spares package that I got with the truck. I guess I didn't realize just how many wheels came with it.

These is a set of CenterLine wheels that were run on the truck n the original Coors Series. http://s31.photobucket.com/user/w650gb5 ... ort=6&o=38

A set of American Racing "CenterLine" look-a-likes. http://s31.photobucket.com/user/w650gb5 ... ort=6&o=34

Old school 15"x7" aluminum slots. http://s31.photobucket.com/user/w650gb5 ... ort=6&o=39

Another set of aftermarket aluminum wheels, possibly Chevy Blazer wheels I've been told. Also 15"x7". http://s31.photobucket.com/user/w650gb5 ... ort=6&o=33

Finally, a terribly heavy set of chrome played steel wagon wheels in 15"x6". These will be for moving the ruck around in the garage. http://s31.photobucket.com/user/w650gb5 ... ort=6&o=35

Awesome! Those 14x6 wheels are very heavy. I bet those Centerlines weigh next to nothing compared to other wheels.

I mis-typed the size, thanks for pointing that out Rev_D21, they are in fact 14"x6".

I'm in need of some parts and information about my D-21. Should I ask them here or begin another thread?

Anyone with some insight on these Z-24 motors please PM me.

Thanks,

Dan

1. I would like to replace the stock flywheel with an aftermarket aluminum unit. Any advice on which company to go with? Also, what other cars or engine models have a compatible flywheel as I can't find much online for the Z-24 in the truck.

2. The original truck ran the 2wd fenders and when it was rebuilt, they changed to the later "flared" 4wd ones. I think the later fenders look cooler, but for the sake of originality should the early 2wd ones be put back on? Your thoughts?

3. Anybody have a rust-free cab for sale close to PA? I could use doors too as I would like to remove the original cab and save it then find a new cab, fabricate a new rollcage and rebuild it from there. I don't mind traveling to NY, NJ, MD or DE for a really good cab.

Thanks guys. I don't know how many of these trucks have survived but I would like to keep this one as close to the way it originally ran as possible. I appreciate the help and will keep either this thread updated or begin a new thread once I begin the rebuild.

1) The flywheel off any L-series, Naps-Z series and/or KA series engine will work. We ran a 280ZX flywheel and clutch on the KA-powered rallycross truck we built last year and it worked fine. Just make sure the throw-out bearing is the correct height.

2) If you want original I'd go with the 2wd fenders. If I owned your truck I would restore it to its original race glory...but that is just me.

3) I have a rust free regular cab off an 1986.5 Hardbody. The cab is still on the truck but can be taken off when the time is right. Sorry I need to keep the doors, hood, cowl and windshield to rebuild the same rallycross truck we rolled last year during a race. The cab itself is yours if it can help restore a true piece of Nissan history. The cab is located in Canandaigua NY. The truck has spent most of its life in Oregon. I bought it off a guy who was about to scrap the truck, it was way too nice to scrap and had some rare parts I used to build another truck in my collection. Let me know if you want it.

We are very happy to have you here and love reading about your truck. Feel free to post in here and start a build thread if you like. There isn't enough information about these race trucks out there so anything you can tell us about yours is a gift from the Gods in our world! Thanks so much for contributing. You have a fan over here.

If anyone is truely interested on owning a cool piece of Nissan history and a fun race truck, I have reduced the price of my truck.

The first person with $4500 cash gets the truck and all of the spares that I have.

If I can't get back my investment of $4500, I will simply store the truck until life allows me the time to properly restore it and then I will enjoy driving it.

I need some toys moved and this is one that needs to go. I simply have no time in life to get to rebuilding it. There has to be a Nissan fan out there who would like to have a unique and interesting vehicle. I have both sets of logbooks, so getting back on track should be simple.

The first person to show up with $3500 cash, a trailer and a tow vehicle with enough space for all of the Nissan stuff that I have, gets it all.
