I put my motor in the car and the motor is rebuilt. The dist is pointing right on CYL1. I started the car and it started up fine and perfect...but i gave it a couple revs and it would cut out at 2500rpm. So i thought my MAS was bad and it went into limp mode. either way i got very impatient ...and started to mess with the IACV. Found out i had the MAF backward and now my car Blows a crap load of black smoke I can rev the motor now passed the 2500 but it spits and sputters and it Idles like Crap with black smoke like no tomorrow. If anyone knows how I can reset the damn thing or give me directions in adjusting it I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys.

your iacv doesnt create issues like that. disconnect it if you dont believe me. look up idle or iacv in tutorial link in my signature.

Go back to the MAF. The wiring may be screwed up.
