I have only had cold air all winter. At 1st i was thinking it was my heart core but it is warm and everything about it checks out ok. So i am guess that it is my mixer motor. Someone told me i could just it by hand but i have not been able to locate it. the Service man' pictures are no help.
anyone do this before that could take some pictures or point me in the right way.

I'd check the climate control diagnostics and see what I came up with before assuming that it's the mixer door.

ok, ran it.

Waited for the car to reach temp. Used IR thermometer to check upper and lower heater core hoses both were at 160ish F. In the car checked heater core with the IR thermometer it was reading 130ish.
Ran the diagnostics on 30 43 to blow heat. Air was still lukewarm. 50-56 all checked 50. Still no hot air.

While you've got the IR, read the heater core hoses. Trust me, the dash disassembly is a pain.

Oh, my bad. Didn't catch that. I'm so tired. The mix door is 4-6 inches up and 10ish inches to the right of the gas pedal... The actuators are little L shaped black housings. There's pictures online if you Google them. Only problem is the dash is in the way.

There's 2 motors, one for defrost/vents/floor, and the other for AC/Heat. I was pretty sure the AC/Heat motor was off of the passenger side near the glove compartment. I have same issue, haven't had a chance to look into it yet. One thing I did to get the defrost/vents/floor to work (sometimes) for now is to keep going from Auto to Off repeatedly with the set temperature either high or low.
