Most NICO club members have seen several posts describing their problems, often without a solution. The biggest improvement we could get would be to simply post the solution after every question we ask. Even if the car goes through the dealership for repair, the rest of us would like to know what part was changed. So please let us know what the fix was if you ask a question. I had a 1998 Altima and that part of the forum is almost completely dead. I often answer questions, then find I provided the only response and never hear back from the person I replied to. Even if you know what you are doing, and found your own answers, we need the record of what your problem was and what you did to fix it, to make this more of a self-service forum.

Unfortunately, most of the Altima forum is people interested in rims, #stancenation, headlights, and making pointless performance upgrades to 2.5 engines. It would be awesome if it were more like the Pathfinder forum where nearly every common problem has a solution and there are a ton of how-to posts.

Also there just aren't many 98 Altimas around where there are plenty of pathfinders of that era that people are attached to and want to keep running.

I have found the same thing. Nissan Engines, the 240zx and frontier/pathfinder forums gave most of the solutions for my Altima.
