I installed my coilovers this weekend and ran into a small issue. When removing the rear shocks from the axle, one of the nuts is welded directly onto the shock... the BC coilovers did not come with this "extra" needed nut. Luckly I have tons of nuts and managed to find one that fit perfectly. Just an FYI to anyone who installs theirs.

That's interesting; they didn't provide hardware for the new coilovers? Anyone else have this issue?

-Thanks for pointing this out ssmrico. Did the guy just provide a standard nut?

-wideopn11 - I just got my coilovers from Scale and the bottom forks doesn't integrate or include the nut either.

@RED_DET, any thoughts on the rear suspension needing a nut? Is this something you could inquire about directly to the vendor?

Looks like the the image of the BC installation are used coilovers. Was that a brand new kit being installed? On brand new kits the nut is usually zip tied to the bottom fork/mount in the applications I have seen in person, to include M37 and G37 coilovers.

Scale Suspension does not include that nut. You can get the nuts at any local Nissan/Infiniti dealership for a $2/ea (part # 01225-00072). If you're in a dire situation any local hardware store will have it as well. M12 1.25 Pitch (fine thread).

How do you like your SCALE coilovers? What springs and rate did you go with? Any other options like pillow ball mounts or stainless hardware?

I want to do the Eibach springs also but was told by Eibach that the RWD springs were not guaranteed to work with the AWD M37. Thank you for showing me it can be done and looks grea! I have just a question for you. With regards to your Eibach springs install, did you need any other parts to get the car’s suspension in spec for alignment?

I never had any issue with the Eibachs; maybe a slight negative camber but that's to be expected and welcomed. Nothing that would require adjustable arms or camber plates.

I have a few questions regarding the Eibach springs. i want to get them for my M37x but what is the ride quality like compare to the factory springs? do they feel about the same as the stock one? I don't want to lose on the comfort side

They fill just like stock if you have an m37s, firm.

I had the eibach springs installed on my m37s a while ago and they were ok, but still had too much spare between the tire and fender wheel for me and I went with BC coil overs.

The ride quality on Eibachs is good, it's a progressive spring so it gets stiffer the more you lean on it in the corners but initial bumps in the rode it's only slightly firmer than OEM. Like others though I also wanted more low so I switched up to SCALE coilovers.

Not really. A little negative which was good but nothing that needed attention. Bushings are a pain in the @ss. I had to replace one that was damaged. Unless one is damaged or you just really want some solid spc bushings I wouldn't bother.
