How the hell do I take off the EGR Guide Tube? Need help!

Ok, here's the situation. I need to take off the EGR guide tube to clean it with out taking off the EGR valve. I have the collector off so i can't get to the bottom nuts of the tube. The big pipe that connects to the EGR valve gets in the way of the bottom nuts, and I'm having problems taking that big pipe off too. For those that took the guide tube off, what tools and what parts did you remove to be able to remove the EGR guide tube. The guide tube is the pipe that connects to the back part of the collector to the block. And for the EGR valve, it wouldn't help to remove it because I can't remove the big pipe anyway.
