how the he!! do you get 180 off?

hey guys, i just got my s14 sr in and haven't been able to get it to turn over yet. so i wanted to check the cas. i take it out and play a bit and it looks like if you line up the dots you can only do it one way. i'm not sure what i am saying, but how does a cas get 180 off? how do i know if i am doing it right?

Your gonna need to set cyl 1 to TDC. Then you use the alighning marks on the CAS to set it up. its odd. My marks were OPPOSITE of what teh S13 manual said they should be. Either way. you set the second mark, or "locked in" mark to 12-oclock. I have an FSM image around here somehwhere. Hold on.
