I'm just kidding about the title of the thread. Just wanted to get your attention.

Look at what I found in my old hard drive. A dream garage! Wouldn't the Q love this? The ultimate bedroom for the Q. The links don't all work and I had to repost all the pics. It took a long time, but I thought you guys would enjoy them.

Ultimate Garage

Technology & Design Showcase - Overview

[email protected]

While my first garage project (built in 1994, see before picture below) demonstrates an effective makeover of a standard 3 car garage, the workshop was limited in functionality due to it's size (20'x20') and relatively low ceiling height. A low or mid-rise lift would work in this space but I've painfully learned over the past few years that any serious shop must have a full-rise lift.

The current project is the culmination of the latest technology combined with knowledge from the past 9 years as a garage designer and consultant. The construction entails the consolidation of two standard size (10'x20') garage bays along with a small (12'x20') bump-out to yield a generous size workshop capable of comfortably housing a full rise automotive lift. The new garage, still only 1280 sq ft in size, offers generous working space and amenities and can provide parking/storage for up to 5 vehicles. The details and technology evident in this transformation demonstrate why Ultimate Garage stands above its competition.

The garage below is a virtual showroom of the products and services I offer. If you are interested in building or outfitting your own ultimate garage, local clients may call 201-262-0412 to schedule a visit and consultation.

Interior is starting to come together - this is the car wash/detail bay

Front wall view Right side view Rear view @ garage door entrance Left side view Storage cabinets are well stocked with Facom hand tools Spring is here and this bay is waiting on the final touches - LCD monitor, artwork, compressor plumbing, etc. Electric for the workshop - the workshop and detail garage each have their own subpanel. The IP addressable timer

(above) is for the waterfall pumps and landscape lighting. Who says solar panels have to be ugly? The garage roof will get a solar slate makeover in 2005 for a little help with

the monthly utility bill. NJ currently has the highest rebate program in the country and will cover 65-70% of the total

cost. The workshop is finally sheetrocked and awaiting the finishing touches - cabinetry, electronics, lighting, wall

treatments, etc. And to the critics...the garage does have a lift, 3 floor drains.....

....and 4 zones of heat including in-floor radiant heat for the workshop.

Sideview of the workshop

The Dynapack chassis dyno....an essential tool for the serious garage workshop!

Shop has a 2-port in-wall fume extraction system (see http://www.ultimategarage.com/fume.htm for additional

details)....

.....and a low speed (1200 rpm), 7500cfm fan to flush the hot air out of the shop when using the dyno. The fan will be

painted and trimmed with molding to integrate with the cabinetry at the front of the room.******************For additional workshop photos, you can look at http://www.ultimategarage.com/ugr2003d3.htm and the pages that follow.

There's still much work to be done here.

***********************There's still a fair amount of work to complete the garage above but I'm already looking forward to starting the next

projects in 2005. Here's a hint of what's to come........

The Other One:

Some have requested pics of my garage so here they are from groundbreaking to powering up... enjoy. Yes I'm a car

nut... I've sold most of the cars pictured here since, though. Oh well.

Over 200,000 visitors have viewed these pics -- I've had to update to higher load servers to host these pics.

If you would, please email me at [email protected] and send me a link to where you found the link to these pics. I

just like to see where everyone is coming from.

Most of us here drive 15 year old Q45's. We can't afford a garage like that.

I can't post a question about how to fix my Q45 in the Q45 forum without it being moved to God knows where, but we can advertise our construction services? I do kitchen and bathroom remodeling...what forum should I post all my pics in?

Hey genius... I've been moving them all to this forum. zeroforum/24

And, just so I don't have anyone getting confused, I've been announcing it about once or twice per week in the Q forum on this thread. ANd, of course you know that because you have posted in this thread. zerothread/213403

BTW... thank you for your positive contribution to our forum.
