Hey guys, here's the deal, I plan on purchasing a 1993 240SX SE pretty soon, and was just wondering how strong the KA24DE engine is, the motor currently has 200,700 miles on it, and he's selling the vehicle itself for 2300, the exterior is in perfect condition, and there's nothing really wrong with the car since it has been serviced. I know this is a very general question, but how long do 240's generally last? Thanks

Here is the vehicle I am referring to:zerothread/175678

What do you think of the deal? Thanks

for 2300 do it man but go to a mechanic and have him do checks o it like oil rad leaks gaskets and that type of ****. Then go to salvage and buy urself an engine with 50k or as low as u can find asap. Should cost 300-600. So just buy an engine and drop it in cuz 200k on any engine is alot and is prolly near the point of fukin something expensive up.

If the engine had oil changes every 3,000.And was not beat on to bad.You sould get a few more good years out of it..MAYBE...Still thats alot of miles
