How strong are 18det bottom ends?

Hello. I am in the process of swapping a CA18DET into my 85 S12 and womdering how much you can get out of it and not have it break down. Thanks.

CA's are provenly known to withstand 1000whp on the bottem while at the same time blowing up causing massive shrapnel damage to surrounding areas.

just to be nice some have down over 300whp with no sign of giving up.
