Hello All,

I am the proud owner of a 2004 touring roadster in Datona Blue. Car specs and picuter to follow.I was on I 95 in Massachutess on Wednesday April 25. It was early eveing and rianing durring this trip. I encounterd some kind of road hazard it was yellow in color and I could not avoid it from passing under my car. It was niosey and had me scared for a while. I was lucky enough to be able to park the car in condo grage that eveing. In the morning there was no leakage under the car. But afer work I discoverd that my TSW Nagaro crome rim on the right rear was dammaged right down to the copper.

Do I have to by worried that what ever dammaged my new tire rime could have caused dammage under the car. How strong are the parts under the car?

most likely your car is fine save for a few scrathes in the undercarriage, you "wheel" I am sure is aluminum and not copper, copper is a very soft metal and could not handle the weight of the car unless ti was really really thick! if your terrible worried take ti to any shop and have them put it up on their lift, typically the lowest hanging part is the exhaust, , the fuel and brake lines tend to be routed near rail supports to further protect them, I wouldn't loose too much sleep over it
