I need new bushings on my S13 and I would like to know how stiff the bushings in the Energy Suspension Master Kit are.The car is my daily driver and I do not want any extra vibration. I do not drift, or race it. I'm replacing the bushings so that the clunking sounds will hopefully go away, and the Master Kit seems like the most cost effective thing. Also, is there any difference in stiffness between the red and black colors?

And yes, I have done a lot of searches and reading about this before I asked.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The black and the red are exactly the same in durometer. The only difference is the red can be more prone to squeaking...the black has a graphite additive that reduces it.

Make sure that your subframe bushings aren't the issue... as Energy's catalog states, their subframe inserts do not replace the subframe bushings.

Also make sure your shocks aren't worn out.

Energy will increase NVH.

I'm guessing Nissan doesn't offer any kind of OEM bushing kit?

nismo makes bushings as well, but they are stiff to...You could just replace them with OEM nissan bushings, but its gonna cost you more probably for a weaker product
