lol...well lets see. they both have pistons and they both have four..and they are good motors..basically you just need to make sure that you take everything off and remeber how you did it and then put it back on in the proper order..and you MUST double check your tourqe specs... that mean when you see this 20/55 for example this mean that you tightne them all at 20 then when you finish doing them all tighten them to 55....i always double check them and make sure you blow out all the holes..as liquid cannot be compressed and there might be some that gets in some of the threads..if you can get new head studs...if not be EXTRA careful when tightening them down.. and while your at it since the head if off you might wanna think about looking at changeing your knock sensor.i wish i would have when i did it when i swapped out my new motor..and you might as well do the PVC valve too..
and make sure you do a thourough look around at all your hoses..squeeze them and see if they are cracking or not..and if you can clean out your tb and you intake manifold if you choose to remove that and replace the gaskets...if you need to check harnesses and clean up some other connections..
basically what you need to do is a tune up for that side of the engine..well tis best to do it all but..when you have the head off like you will soon its optimal to get the knock sensor off and change your pvc since they are in a strange spots
