Consider the type and general area of driving. What are the lowest parts of the car fore and aft of the axle lines. For example your exhaust and bumpers. The lowest part of my car is the resonator at about 4" of clearance. Its whithin a foot of the rear axle line, so I dont really scrape it anywhere. Just something to consider.

Be sure to double check if the ride height is even on both ends because finger indicator isn't that great. Then you'll need to get it aligned...and deal recommend load of parts to correct camber and etc. Than you'll be safe. Unless you live in areas with really harsh and bad roads....

You can take care of tires hitting fenders by rolling and removing fender well covers, but the problem will be frame. Look under the car and you will see the frame is like 3 inches from the ground.

i would roll that lip under there, when you hit a bump, or take a turn a little hard, that tire might rub.as far as being "safe" .... from what ?

debris in the middle of the road ? .. nope.steep driveways ? ... na ah.the occasional lump in the middle of the road, that you just cant dodge ? .. uh uh.but you may experiance some "wandering".alot of negative camber, due to lowering, will cause the tires to follow the groves in the road.

i believe with the macpherson setup(that 240's have), the lowest you can go is when your front control arms are parallel to the ground. after that, you lose grip.

Nope, it looks good, so leave it like that. Just drive careful not to scrape the bottom..

After reading this thread, i realize i need to get my fenders rolled. But how do i go about this? My friends dad (ol' timer) says i can just use a wooden baseball bat, but im not too sure about this.

Seems like many people own fender rollers these days, so you might want to check your local forums and see if you can rent one. It's really easy to do and better than baseball bat.

you're not missing much, LOLjust a slammed s14 on oem wheels

oh, and 240love, just an fyi, if you still have stock rear upper control arms; if you go lower, it will just tuck itself with camber (assuming your fenders are rolled)... so I'm pretty sure your rear fender will never touch your tires.

It looks really good like that. But it's your GF's car right. After she drives it around and scrapes on driveways etc, she will tell you to put it higher. Looks aren't everything (i know i'm going to get some flak for this:couch) but practicality plays an issue. I am speaking from experience. Mine was slammed so low i couln't get 4 girly fingers under my frame rails, I put it back up now.

That isn't that low. As long as you adjust your driving to dealing with being that low, you and her will be fine. I could barely fit my chucks under my lip, and well, I was fine, lol.
