Ok I need some opinions on my ideas. I am at the turning point of my driving career. Loan has been approved and I can finnally get my SR20. I want to get a standalone engine management system, motorset, T3/T4 turbo, new fuel pump and injectors, an APEXi N1 exhaust, blitz front mount intercooler, and an hks super sequential BOV. Plus msc. gauges, and a greddy profec b boost controller.

Do you think this is a good idea for a nice not to expensive setup??

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

yeah that sounds pretty good, one thing to think about however, is how much horsepower and boost do you want to get out of the engine, if your looking for mad horsepower (350+) you are probably going to have to start looking at upgrading the internals, which might be a little more expensive. But if your just looking for about 300~350 RWHP, then that should be just fine. And one thing to remember about the standalone is that your gonna need dyno tuning to get everything running perfect. sounds nice, make it twice, and I singed the autograph YO thanks fer thee advice.

sorry im loosing my mind. wish I could afford a blitz FM right now, sniff sniff..

You have the opportunity now to get pistons, Im not sure if you have enough left from the loan tho, so keep in mind youll pay for labor twice like me :-) unless your doint it yourself.

Good luck, keep us up to date.

you should invest in a 3" downpipe too. and maybe a testpipe to get rid of the cat, just to let the engine breath better.

thanx for the comments guys. I am looking for about 300-325 healthy running sr horsepower. I am also a mechanic and we have dyno here in the shop I work at so basically all i need money for is parts. Thanx again tho.
