Well this should be interesting introduction for myself....considering all of my past cars have been European...haha. I am a car enthusiast and have respect for every make out there and as much as I am passionate about older European vehicles I have found myself now part of this community too!
I just found and purchased a 1998 Inifinty QX4 after having done weeks and weeks of research (yup I was poking around in here before I was a member) so I'm no noobie to the QX4 and I was very selective when trying to find the exact one for my mother who previously was driving a 2001 Jeep Cherokee. We were originally looking for a 1999.5 but the one we bought was much closer! I have driven half a dozen Jeep Cherokees as my winter vehicle over the last few years and I love those things to death but I bought my older 4WD Bimmer to take the Jeeps place this season. My mom hasnt had luck with either one of her past Jeeps. So I finally turned her to the foriegn side...lol. Needless to say the QX4 is perfect, black with tan leather. Has the heated seats and Sport package options from 1998, not sure if it has the limited slip differential or not. Has 103K miles on it. Just had timing belt/waterpump done, new catalytic converter, rear passenger door handle fixed, & wheel bearing done. This is ready to rock and roll and I hope it's everything I've heard and read about to be. I also like the fact that the N and Low 4WD is a seperate shifter versus some other QX4's Ive seen. All my Cherokees had the real 4WD shifter unlike the turn knob on the QX4. I would buy the Q in a heartbeat from her if she ever changes her mind so you guys are now stuck with me for a while!
Pics will be up very soon!
