Yes, its clear and loud, but very annoying. I actually have the voice guidance turned off, just so I can enjoy my music without the interruption from voice guidance every 30 seconds.

The voice is good, it's just a pain in the butt when you have music on because if your music is too loud you can't her the woman talk.

It does mute the music when the voice guidance comes on to give you directions. There is seperate volume for music, phone, and voice guidance so that you can control how loud each is seperately from each other.

I tend to have my voice guidance up fairly loud so I can hear her over my music (I blare my music as full volume -- 9 speaker bose bass all the way up and treble down a single notch) however, even when the music is all the way up, if you have the voice guidance volume close to the same, it actually lowers the music volume while the voice guidance is talking.

You can also use the 'voice guidance on/off" voice command to quickly turn her voice on/off without doing anything but speaking.

It does this thing where it keeps the music playing on the back speakers, but has the voice nav talk in the front speakers....

Meh, i just turned her voice off. I didn't really like it too much either way - i don't like the voice, i'd rather just look at the nav when it flashes the intersection thing.
