i've searched and looked

i seriously did.:help i've read a lot of posts saying that S13 SR20DET(red top) is easier to tune etc etc, while S14SR is making more power stock wise, and also quote from heavy throttleQuote »Variable valve timing system and a different turbo are the significant changes from the S13 SR20DET engines. S14 uses 'low port' intake design vs. S13 'high port' design.[/quote]S14 seemed to me like a easier way to make more power, since it has a diffrent turbo, VVT engine, and takes a bit more boost as well..

the SR20DET red top has a better head design that flows more and responds to porting better as well......you don't have to tune around the VVT.....kinda like the Focus and the SVT Focus....they're making like 450hp with the regular Zetec....but in the SVT with VCT they're only making like 280....not a good explination but atleast I can rationalize it for myself :p
