I have never removed a window on either of my Q45s and have no experience with any of the newer years, but I have pulled the front windows on both of my trucks.

I assume the process is similar. Unbolt the window from the regulator, rotate it sideways, and gently get it out. My trucks have been substantially simpler door wise (manual locks, mirrors, and windows) - but I suspect it's pretty much the same process.

Does the 05 have the "buttons" that fit through the glass? If so you have to remove those somehow. I would download the FSM at http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ to get the correct procedure.

I have not removed the window from my 03Q but I have taken out the Door Finisher on the Rear Door, driver side, to address a rattle issue (screw at the base of the door). Once you have taken out the door finisher, the Window and Window Regulator are accessible.

Since Heath provided you with a link to the FSM, you can go to EI (Exterior & Interior) chapter and follow the procedure on how to remove the Door Finisher, starting on page EI-31. Instead of a cloth, I use a duct tape and wrap it around the tip of a common blade screw driver to prevent damage to door components during removal.

For removal of Window, go to GW (Glass Window System & Mirrors) chapter, starting on page GW-45.

Good luck.
