how reliable are engine swaps ( SR and RB)????

I got a stock KA auto yeah its auto... neways i thinking about swaping to and SR20 or the RBs so i can get the powerfull engine and also a manual at the same time ...but the thing is i also want to be able to drive my car anywhere with out worring about breaking down... so wats more reiable SR or RB??? thanks .... oh wats the estimate price to do the swap???

something more reliable? depends on how you build it and how much you pay for it up front usually... Junk yard motors don't usually put up the "reliability" flag when I think of em.

once you modify it you'll be asking for trouble no matter what. even if its a stock swap there can be problems. i don't recommend to rely on the 240 as much as most people are. as it is a 15 year old car even though its reliable expect stuff to happen

its all pretty much a gamble, just make sure you get your motor from a reputable place. the sr's and rb's are all coming from clips you have no history about, all you know is its under 60k (supposidly). good luck!
