Why in the world does anyone even try to negotiate with people like these in the Middle East? Government officials in Saudi Arabia claiming a vulture is an Israeli spy and government officials in Egypt claiming the Israelis are releasing attack sharks to destroy the Egyptian tourist industry? They are almost as crazy as the Republican and Democratic leaders here in the U.S.!

Seriously, a few local politicians who are idiots does not make the entire country that way.
By that standard, we should use the antics of the Santa Cruz politicians (or Berkeley too) to judge Washington as insane ... hmmm ... maybe that approrach is not too far off the wall ...
