I used the search but didnt find an answer to this question.( 97 J30)I just used Seafoam and i was wondering for those who have used this stuff multiple times. how often can you use it. I used 1/3 of the can and added it to the brake booster vaccum line, and it did start the smoke screen and i turned off the car and hooked everything back up, let it sit ten minutes and then drove till the smoke cleared. i still have to add the rest to the crankcase and the gas tank. but does anyone know how long i would have to wait before i could put it through vaccum line again? i just want to make sure i get all the crap out. thanks

I do it once a year. I also use 3 oz. of Lucas upper cylinder lubricant in the gas tank every fill up.

You want to really clean the inside of your engine, look into this stuff:

You talking about seafoam or auto RX? There's lots of articles there. Wanna be more specific as to which one?

I just use brake fluid and water, 50/50. Diesel will also work, in very small quantities.

If you do not have engine sludge issues I would not add it to the crank case. If you do change the oil pretty soon after!
