How often should transmission fluid be changed?

How often should transmission fluid be changed?
My 93 J30 has just over 174,500 miles on it and i've had it since 121,000 miles. Never changed the transmission fluid but was wondering is there a time frame on when it should be done? I'm thinking about getting it changed with Mobil 1 Synthetic Transmission Fluid. Any thoughts?

I Drain/refill every 30K miles.

If the fluid isn't nice and pink its not doing it job.

Don't forget about the filter too! You can pick them up offline for less than $20 or at any reputable auto store chain, but I think I got mine from a local SuperWalmart last time. Good luckyodawill2000 wrote:I Drain/refill every 30K miles.
