I usually wash it once a week. For black colour it gets dusty so fast.

This time of year, I wash it as soon as it gets above freezing, if it was warm all week, I'd wash it everyday... Seriously, I'm addicted to shine.

Whenever it gets dirty.

Sorry...didn't mean to sound like a smart***. I have gotten bad about driving it through the touchless car washes now that it is so cold, but when it gets nicer, I love to crank up some music and do some detailing. I'm not near as anal as I was when I was younger. I had a '76 Camaro that I actually washed and waxed the paint off of it. There were spots where the primer was showing through and I had to get it repainted. Of course, paint has come a long way since then, thank goodness.

I think the best compliment a detail freak can get is the comments I get on my Z28. I can't tell you how many people have asked me who painted my car. I just reply "a robot on the GM assembly line".

I dont think anyone here washes their car more than me. Thanks to having a car wash attached to my dealer, I wash whenever I feel the need. The need for scrubbing bubbles action! Seriously. Pretty much whenever a bird craps on my car or dust settles around it, wheels get black from brake dust, water spots from rain, water are visible on the glass, I wash it about 2 times a week, sometimes 3. Once I washed it 3 times in one day. I parked under a big tree. It took a while to clean an entire migratory flock of bird poo off my car. Remember that Pathfinder commercial with the birds trying to poo on it? Or it was a Maxima commercial. Nissan commercials used to be super awesome.

I am lucky like Poyzinous. I work at a dealer too, so I usually wash mine once a week.

I catch a lot of $hit from the people I work with. I usually hear "man for a car this nice, it is in the shop a lot".

But hey I love my car, and take care of it.

Yeah that's one of the few remaining perks of the job. I wash mine at least once a week. By hand and only use a lambskin shammy. Quick wax bi-weekly (I work every other Saturday) my interior stays immaculate and the leather is undergoing mineral treatment with human grade oils. I'm a little too anal though, and yes my commute is <2 miles to work and I dust my car before I leave the parking lot.

I can confirm steve's work. He cares for his J better than most millionares care for their ferraris and maintains his interior better than most supermodels maintain their implants and botox schedules. Steve wants every foreign contaminant eviscerated before even reaching his vehicle's ozone, and all microscopic fibers of his leather interior to come together like tibetians at tiannamen square at the peak of whatever it was that they were doing. I wish I had self healing paint. That would be cool. All you 2nd generation owners are lucky.

We should have a dirty G club.

Even if I had a ferrari I would keep it dirty. I'd probably have it look like I was off roading it like those jeep people do with their jeeps. Mud everywhere. Just to be a d!ck. Every time I drive by people would be like "he's an ***"

Once between Nov. and March whether she needs it or not. Clean cars attract road salt and make it snow more.
