How often do you clean your car?

I find myself doing a quick cleanup once a week, and a large cleaning once a month. I just like to keep the inside nice and clean, you know? Having a dirty interior sucks

With my steam pressure cleaner I bought from Canadian Tire for $129.99 (canadian :pface), I actually enjoy cleaning my car haha.

It works wonders actually. It has removed rust from under the seats where the latches are, its removed rust from the speakers, its removed grime and every spec of dirt under the seats, on the seats, on the windows, on the dashboard, everywhere.

How often do you clean your car?

I clean my car about once a week interior wise, and wash it about twice a week.

Every time I get a chance. I hate having a dirty interior, just makes your car feel like a piece of crap.

having a non-running car constitutes having a dirty *** interior. A vaccum cleaner works wonders tho.

Total times cleaned since I bought it=0 (unless you count the pressure washing of the engine bay)

Same here i probally waste about 5+ hrs a week cleaning my car. Now if i only did that for my room.

Yeah seriously. If I did that from my room, you could see reflections off everything. It'd be so shiney, so gleaming...my eyes hurt just thinking about it.

I dont have a 240, but I never washed my thunderbird, and when i did i just sprayed it off. I am to lazy and careless to wash the exterior, I don't care what it looks like. I say the dirtier the better

Im not out to impress anyone. The interior, on the other hand, I like to keep clean. Had a bad incident with a full water bottle that rolled behind my brake pedal : \

spray turtle wax about once a month for the interior to keep it nice and shiny, car wash about every 2 weeks, but my hose is currently broken, so i havent washed it for about 2 months

it does, but it also destroys your vinyl and plastic pieces...

I clean interior once a week, wash once every 2 weeks and wax every month

Wash 1-2 times/week and do interior about once every two weeks. I make sure people don't get dirt and crap inside my car, so it doesn't get too dirty.

well i have 2 cars to keep up with (my altima and 24o) but i work at 2 autodetailing places, so they each get a cleaning ATLEAST once a week (although since its been raining, ive washed my 24o 3 times this week), and clean the interior everytime i wash them, and i put a nice coat of handwax and then a polish on it once every 2weeks

my dash is really messed up but i still try to clean my interior once a week and the outside of the once too. any one got a blue dash for a 90 coupe with hud in good condition?

I wash my car every chance i get.

Course that dosent ammount to much when you work full time... and have rain 24/7

I just try to keep it clean as possible

i wash my 240 at least once a week and wipe the seats down with leather care stuff. I cant stand a dirty car inside or out. Plus, I don't want any waterspots on the paint. If you keep a car pristine, people notice, and when or if you ever sell it, you can always get good money for it.

esp if people are always lookin at it and when u sell it ppl are like id love to buy that, he has always kept it in good condition, oh and mine dont move right now so its spotless and i wash it when it gets dusty, and interior when it is slightly dirty...

Wash every week although that's been delayed since I've been working on getting the motor to idle properly...

My def of wash = scrub the outside, clay bar, check for wax and if it needs a wax, I'll use a glaze, and then put the wax. For the interior, that's also weekly, UV protectant on the interior pieces, shine up the console pieces, vacuum and check floor mats for stains and clean up with carpet cleaner if there are some stains.

eh...i've never washed my 240 with soap in the 2 years i've owned it...is that bad? i vaccumed it 3 times though

I haven't washed my car in about a month.

The interior? hahahhaa.... I still have a bunch of school books thrown in the hatch from when i was studying for finals... hahaha...

There's something about having a dirty car that makes me feel like I'm actually getting some use from it, rather than looking at how pretty it is...

I vaccum and detail the inside about every week or so, outside wash usually gets done at the same time. Wax I usually do just a couple times a summer (the car is garaged for the winter)... I cant stand having the car filled with all kinds of crap with dust everywhere, so I clean it whenever it needs it.

Anyone got any favorite tricks to cleaning their 240s? I like to take off the radio panel, ash tray, plastic stuff like that and put them in the dishwasher haha... Lessee I also use 409 to clean all the dash/cluster/steering wheel etc..

I wash my car almost everyday. I park underneath a Mullberry tree that just craps on my car every night. So every morning I have to give it a quick rub down. I should just buy a car cover but then I'd have to clean that all the time too.

I clean the interior about once a week.

I NEVER wash my car and it's cleaner that ANY of your cars will ever be!!!!!!!!!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

man I wish I had a car....:boink

but on the real side I wash my dad's tercel every 3 or four months 2 and counting right now lol...and I try to keep the interior clean....hell it's his car and I hardly drive it but I can't be seen in that thing if it's too dirty!!!!! lol :jet:
