Son't bother. I ran the Nissan spec whatever it was for $29.99 at the Don Davis Nissan dealer here for the 103k miles I had my car from '09 brand new till this past June.
For reasons I don't understand yet, I have read that going to synth oil on higher mileage cars can possibly cause oil seepage. Now one reason is that because it's so much better at lubing stuff, it gets into everything better, including slightly worse seals that regular oil plugs up instead. Since synth oil *can* have stronger detergent agents, it is said that it *can* clean up those 'gunk plugs' and over time make it look like you've got a bad leak.
In any case, some say it's making their car run better with zero problems, others say that modern oil is 10x better than it was before and that it doesn't matter at all and not worth the extra expense.
For what it's worth, my '06 Sentra ran dino oil for 56k miles, changing at every 3,000 miles, then the dealer recommended I switch to synth since it was getting up in miles. They said to get it changed every 5,000 miles. My personal opinion is: Do what your wallet allows.
