New SR owner. I searched an couldn't find anything for such a simple question, so if anyone can suggest something...

I am just wondering because I use mobile 1 full synthetic, and I was recommended by the shop who did the swap to change the oil every 2000 miles, and that just seems like kind of early...The oil is brown, it doesn't look that bad...what do you suggest as far as how often to change oil.

thanks.

I usually change it every 3 months or 2000 miles, whichever is first. For me, 3 months usually comes first, as I don't drive many miles.

I do it every 3k and right after the swap I did 500, 1k and then I'll be coming up on 3k in about 1k or so. I only use Mobil one products including filter. 10w-30 dyno oil..

appreciate all the help, 3k seems to be the normal, I don't drive that hard so that should be fine.

Since I never changed the speed sensor, my odometer doesn't work and I end up changing my oil way too often. Mobil 1 full syn, of course. I will be running an oil cooler with a remote filter and I'm probably going to add a Greddy Oil Pan. How much oil do you guys think I'm going to need to run? 6 quarts maybe? Thanks.
