I hope you hit something hard and die or are severely injured before you kill/injure someone else with your stupidity.

Unless your in Germany... then that's cool.

I live a hell of alot harder than you do but I do it legally. I hit 170+ in my car but i do it at Sebring. You want to push your car? head to the track like other smart people.

Don't do stupid shyt in an environment you can't control. We have laws for a reason. You brake them... you suck! You kill /hurt my wife or my kid on a public road you wil wish you were never born.

We all do stupid shyt when we are young. Some of us grow up and learn that it was stupid and some don't get teh chance to grow up.

I don't know you, but I know you are doing something stupid.

Not affraid of the cops? Wow... that's a tough guy!

I don't think I've ever been above 80mph in my Z...maybe 85 tops. I've tested the 0 to 60 a few times. When I was younger I owned a heavily modified RX-7 that on a few occasions I buried the needle at 160mph. But, as Jet has already stated, we realize as we get older that doing such things isn't very smart.

Seriously OP, this kind of behavior isn't condoned on NICO. If you want to glorify excessive speed on public roads and general recklessness, you'll have to do it elsewhere.

lets be honest...us young bucks never double check what we write...thank you microsoft word...i do take the z out on a nice sunny day and just curve around the roads and enjoy the scenery...but the occasional 3-3 comes every once in a while, and why not enjoy the....vrroooooom.....

did you treat you car any different when you decided to bury that needle at 160? maintenance wise...some times it's kinda hard getting a track day in workin 6 days a week to pay for car...insurance rent and just sucking at life......

I owned my RX7 from '89 to '91 while I was stationed in Puerto Rico. It was a track car that I drove legally on the streets on a regular basis. It never would have been street legal in the United States. Being a track car that was tuned to push things right to the edge of their limits, something was always breaking. It seemed maintenance never stopped on that car. It was a 5 speed manual and I could bury the needle at 160mph in 4th gear before redline. My guess is top speed was around 175+.

Fastest I've had my car was about 130 mph. We were on a Z run with a bunch of others on a road that winds around the lake through the booneys. So nobody was really around except for us Z'ers and the roads were all in good shape because they are hoping to turn that area into a housed area.

I guess someone blew past the forum rules cuz I'm sure NICO and every other automotive forum I've been to does not condone or tolerate posts about street racing or excessive speeds on public streets.

And to blatetenly come out and admit it is just a way to show a lack of maturity and regard for other people's safety, not to mention your own. Going fast is "cool", but there are proper venues for such acts. On your way to work in the morning is not one of them.

Hitting top speeds on a closed course is one thing. Running the (standing)Texas Mile, or hitting it at a HPDE is perfectly acceptable. Your way of getting a rush is not. So please don't hate on those here telling you how stupid or foolish you are, because they are right.

I just had a co-worker get seriously injured and his friend die in an auto accident because of another car speeding and not paying attention and the speeds involved were well under 100. So please do us a favor and keep your F&F fantasies off of public streets.

I bought mine 3 days ago and ive had it over 100 3 or 4 times. Its easy to do passing someone thats on the interstate doing 70 or 75. These cars easily float to 100 and then just coast there. And if you ever drive in really big citys like dallas you have to do 100 to do go with traffic. Everybody saying street racing and going fast on public streets are hypocrites. 100 is not that much faster than the 65 or 70 mph road youd need to even be able to do 100+. I had a zx10 up to 179 and that was just f***ing retarded and i learned alot from that. And sold that b****! it was a hell of a rush tho.

Actually, yes we do. Just look around at most of the posting done, and it's all generally normal looking. Some are lazier than others I guess...

Why not enjoy the "vrrooooom?" Because it's against the law, and you're putting yourself and others in danger by driving at such high speeds. 95 is a pot hole mess - what happens when you hit one of those pot holes going 100+ and your car flys out of control?

If you say it's hard to get to the track because you have to pay for all your stuff, maybe this car is outside of your means...you might want to try a Versa or something.

TommyCallahan commenting about brake pads.... awesome... you should probably check the inline spec on the rotary gurter before hitting those sort of speeds too

I was going to suggest using Hawk Performance brake pads if you do decide to drive "Spiritedly" - made in the US, can tolerate high temps, and it is made from the same comapny that provides friction for Boeing 747s

Psych psych psych!

Honestly going 100 might be a little extreme but going 80, 85 in dallas is nothing. In the area I live the highways are long and straight and are kept in good condition. Some highways the speed limits are 70 too.

Is it bad to use the brakes while going 100+? Cause when im on the track I hit 115 before one turn and just wondering if I should be expecting problems with the rotors or pads?

no i'm not a new richie...nor am i in high school...i'm an independent person...and yes my name is on the title/reg.

i was just curious as to whom has hit these speeds...no need to bash...i'm a 22 y/o veteran with 2 deployments under my belt...don't judge me...as all of you already have so gracefully done.

as i have posted previously...i don't fly by people at 100+ during traffic...if any of you have been a 95 S bound at 3/4 in the morning...anyone would clearly see there will be no damage caused to any one besides my self....

and yes i have flipped off my motorcycle at 80mph...i do know what the consequences are.....(no jacket either)

not here for a lecture or smart comments...keep them to your self...i'm not boasting about how fast i go...cause it's not that often...just when the 3-3 or 4-4 hits...i'm not talking about how manly i am...i'm not the man...

p.s i will never get a versa...ever.......period...

This is how you are going to feel when you crash. SLOW DOWN!!!

...if you must.

+100mph check list

1. Tire pressure2. Brakes3. Life insurance policy4. common sense

If you really must go over 100mph, get some aero kits for your car. It will help stabilize your car when going fast.
