how much would you pay??

How much would you pay for an 89 240sx xe with no engine. The body is pretty straight except for 1 dent in the rear drivers side 1/4 panel. The cluster only says it has 80,xxx miles on it.

My first car was a 90 hatch, it wasnt in the best shape but was fun to drive. I saw the 89 and thought it would be a good swap candidate if I could get it cheap enough. Plus I like the body style better.

Those aren't worth all that much (under $500 maybe?), of course due to the swap craze running rampant in 240SX community, KA24's are widely available at low prices...

I am assuming the 89 is a coupe since your 90 is a hatch, and you like the styling of the 89 better. If the interior is good and everything, I would offer them like 500 bucks for the body. Why pay more for a 14 year old body with no motor? 500 may even be pushing it.

Yeah I'm doing an swap I'll give you my engine and 5 speed trans for a few hundred if you want. The heads have been ported and polished but it needs a little work as in timing chain change. and re cleaning of the heads but the manual trans is in perfect condition and the clutch catches like new.
