$1700 sounds fair, but the rust spots on the frame is concerning if you are going to slide it or do any kind of motorsports.
Then again, I don't know enough about frames and bodywork to be any kid of real judge.

yeah i dont know jack about rust on the frame. The add wasnt too specific about where the rust is but im guessing on the frame rails. I might offer him 1200.

This would be for a DD for the moment while i rebuild the 95s KA.
After the 95 is up i dunno what im gonna do with it.

I was thinking 1200 too... but anything around 1500 isnt that bad... take a look at that minor rust first...

I think $1700 is too much. I bought a completely stock 90 hatch for 900 and I'm in Canada. Driving 3 hours for this in my opinion would'nt be worth it unless you could get the owner to bargain a bit. If driving for a long distance doesn't bother you then I'd say go ahead. Anyway, it's up to you, if you haven't seen a deal like this before in your area and don't think there will be one, then maybe go for it :)

I need it running. Most for around this price in my area are "Needs headwork" "Needs new transmission" Im just to busy with work, kids, WoW (my biggest addiction besides cars), and the 95 project to have to do alot to this right away. Ill use it for 30 minutes a day mon-fri. Thats it. Im definatly gonna start with 1200, but no way im paying 1700 for it.
