Thats certainly a lot of miles but clearly they are all hiway miels at this model year.Price,

Hard to tell depdnds on condition I guess It wont be an expensive car but the fact that its a 2000 I30 means it wont be a beater either.

certailny under ten but over 5.

This post would do well in Infiniti Showroom subforum, as some are ready on the trigger there waiting to answer just such a question.

Sorry about that. I should have posted this there.

Hes asking $6700 for it.

Well, I e-mailed him asking how low he would go with the price. I offered $4800 for the I30. Here is the response I got:

dont waste my time 4800 for a 2000 stupid

lol

I didnt expect to get an attitude like that. Sure, $4800 may be a little too low, but is that type of attitude we should have? He didnt even say, "No low ballers" or anything of that nature in his ad.

I just felt kind of stupid after reading that e-mail so wanted to come here and see what NICOers think.

Thanks,

- Omar

I think it is worth about $6,500.00

Whoever owns it has fully depreciated the car, and anything he gets will be more than what he would get at an auction.

I love my 2000 I30t!

car is the second coming.. It is still a 185k car regardless of highway driving, or backstreet boy driving ! The car has 185k of mechanical wear.... it has nowhere to go but downhill, if not already..

Two things:

(a.) Can the owner prove it has hwy miles (check the brake pedal fro wear, it should have some).(b.) is there a full maintenence history for the vehicle?

I would still be leery like metaverse3 said, its got a ton of mechanical wear.

5 year old car is 33% of MSRP MINUS 7 cents per mile over 75k so $10,600 minus 110,000 x 0.07 minus [$7700] ~~ $3,000.

Now some might say it has the potential to make 250,000 miles so that would be 65,000 miles x 0.07= $4550 but surely not without spending some money so $3,000-$3,550 TOPS! I would be concerned about transmission and AC, wheel bearings, suspension, steering rack.Really depends on what if any major system have been replaced when [mileage].

Most people way over pay for used cars! Forget they all need $3,000 worth of work.At this mileage assume you will need to spend 10 cents per mile in maintenance and repairs to get the next 65,000 miles out of it.

This guy sounds like an a-hole. Bad karma. Who want's to get a car from someone like that. If it runs so "LIKE NEW" then why is the guy selling it?
