I'm not going to tell how much I've spent, but only show pictures and my mods list. Just tell me how much you'd pay for it and maybe pros and cons of it. I'm just looking for feedback, i dont plan on selling it xD

If that mileage really is true, then about the 5 k range.

id go 2,5 i think. aside from the motor, everything looks pretty stock.

id still have to do all kinds of wheels/tires/suspension stuff to that puppy to make it up to par, and its a hatch, so i probably wouldnt even pay that.

keep in mind, i paid 300 bucks for my current 240.

3-3.5. As stated before, the whole car is pretty much stock besides the engine, and in addition to that, it's running on the stock turbo.

Having built and owned 2 CA powered S13s...

I wouldn't sell for less than $5k. Anything less is not worth it. Most fanboys will want an SR or KA-T so that will be your uphill battle.

id like an explanation as to how a fanboy would be assumed to want a ka-t.

last time i checked, sticking with the stock motor and going turbo was the most anti-fanboy thing to do. since its not jdm-tyte y0.

Cuz there are 2 major fanboys in the SX community.

KA fanboys and SR fanboys.

All the other obscure engines dont really have fanboys.RB, CA, LS, TB, VH, VQ,.........

rb, ca, ls, vh and vq all have their followings. i dont know what tb's are, so i cant vouch for them.

the only reason kas and srs have stronger followings is because they both make damn good sense for a 240.

that doesnt make ka's fanboy material though.

id say anything thats made and shipped from japan qualifies as a "fanboy item" way more than usdm truck motors.

my two cents.

Hmm i suppose you are right.

TB was just to make sure you were listening....err reading. Its the engine that came in the Patrol....godly by any standards, but i doubt it would fit in an Schassis....though i would love to see someone try.A TB48DET Schassis car would be frikkin fabulous

That thing is not worth 5k+ imo. You're never going to gain more money from the car than you put into it. With all the mods he has, I'd say the most the car should be worth is around 3.5k at most. You can grab a CA for less than what 1,500 ( correct me if I'm wrong). And according to the statement about the car, it's pretty much stock other than what's under the hood. You can buy a shell for around 2-300 easily, and just buy a CA separate. I can't see how it'll be worth around the 5k range.

At any rate, I don't believe in the whole engine fan-boy thing. Each engine has its pros and cons, and the reason why they're popular probably has to do with their pros no? CA's are less popular probably because they're an older model and more prone to problems, and most people would/should rebuild the CA's anyway once they buy them. In addition, they have less power from the get-go, and they aren't much cheaper than SR's, thus, most people would prefer the SR. Why the KA-T's are popular is probably because they're the cheaper alternative to turbo charging an S13.

You guys may not agree with me but that's just my 2 cents. The term "fan-boy" is too broad and too much based on opinions, so there's no definite label for it. Everyone has their own taste. Now, I'd agree with you 100% if someone called a riced out cars owner a fan-boy. It suits the term more.

its the work he put into it that counts 4-5k is is good guess any body can buy motors and shells and throw them together and hope it works the time spent doing it right is where te extra $ come in ....btw he was right ka-t is becoming a fan boy thing since a good sr is geting hard and harder to come by... im anti fanboy fo real yo im rockin a 100% stock piggy no intake no exhast, even have a oem nissan tape deck yep ALL BY CHOICE
