Suppose you found the ultimate "Old lady kept in garage only drove to Church every other Sunday and always had it maintained by the best Nissan master mechanics, body is mint, no rust, no faded paint. Could have rolled off the factory production line yesterday perfect."

How much would you pay for it?

As little as I had to. But max I would pay for a SOHC $1500, DOHC $1700, ZENKI $1400, Kouki $2500

Wow, you wouldn't end up with many of them.

This scenario isn't too specific either. Big difference between a '89 and '98, probably ranging in current retail at a used dealer of $1,500 to $8k.

Well I prefer 89's and have 3 of them for the grand total of $1900.

Yes, '89s are cheap. But you put you'd only pay $2,500 for a S14 Kouki. You'd be lucky to find a good shell at that price.

And I'm weird since I've bought 3 S13s ranging from $4,100 to $14,000 each. But the last one I bought was in '06 so don't pay too much attention to the market.

But each answer is coming from somone who prefers one year/model to the other. Everything is either SOHC/DOHC, S13/S14, Coupe/Hatch/Vert, etc. And that is a wide range of values.

Perfect condition 100% Stock 91-93 S13:

$6000 = 0-20000mi
$5000 = 21k-40kmi
$4000 = 41k-80kmi
$3000 = 81k-120kmi

The rest, use your best judgment. BTW, these are not by means a standard, it is just my opinion.

Yeah, S14's aren't my thing, I would own one if the right deal came along.

Plus most Kouki's for sale aren't $5000+ cars, but that what they want for them anyway.

Then half the zenki's I see for sale are either retarded expensive or $1200 with a few issues or body damage.

I would pay $12k for a clean, perfect conditioned, 5spd, 50k mi or less for a 98 240.. Cuz they go for that much.

You would pay $12k for a stock 240sx?

You could build a better car for the same. And have stretch and poke on 17s for the kidz.

My mileage would be way higher but who cares, It has compression its good.

I am fortunate to live an a S-chassis rich community. We get them all day long. Most around here already have SR20 and RB25's.

Got $3500 and want a built S-chassis, come to Virginia Beach.

If your paying over 5k for a stock 240. Then you need to rethink your priorities haha.

I paid 2600 for mine because non-rusted 240s are hard to come by in Nebraska, and it only had 100k.

Yes, if I had the money I defenantly would spend that kind of money on a 98 with the certain options. Theres only a couple hundred of those things, and even less of those that are 100% stock ! I hate to see modded 98's..

As far as a stock S13, I think the $2k limit is fair. Depending on condition, maybe up to $500 more

Bah this thread is moot.

The supposed 'Perfect' car was not

Great body: Covered in scuffs and dents.

No Rust: Rust in every corner, frame on front drivers side all but gone.

LOW MILES 57k!: Odometer doesn't work, and car fax didn't catch it.

No mod, fully stock: At least this one was honest.

Runs perfect mechanically: As long as you don't mind not having a clutch

GAHHHH 50 mile drive for nothing!
