While I was in Japan a few months ago I found some literature on the Tiida S-Tune that has been floating around the internet for the last couple years. The extra package for the exhaust, aero performance parts, suspension, etc. is a ~$7,000 upgrade from their top model. That would be similar to our SL model at $16,500 + $7,000 for upgrades. So, would someone pay for a limited edition Versa S-Tune at a comparable price of $23,000?

I you wouldn't pay that much, what is your upper level for an exclusive model? What would you want from the car as far as options (aero body kit, engine and suspension performance, etc.)?

It seems Honda's Fit Sport with comparable Mugen items is about $21k - $22k. Someone out there is buying them. Who are these people??

Think it would have to be under $20k to not compete with the Spec V.

for an extra 7K i would expect at least MR20DE or QR25DE, and of course upgraded suspension and maybe exhaust/intake, but all the things i listed might bump the price up at least 10K

We buy our cars more for the utility of them, so I can't think of anything they could do to a Versa to make it worth that price to us. In that higher price range we would buy something else.

I get that it's limited edition and all but my dad paid less than that for a brand new extended cab Vortec V8 Chevy Silverado so no thanks. If my Versa costed any more than what I paid for it, I wouldn't have gotten it. If it didn't have the CVT and other few ammenities, the $15 grand before taxes would have been too much for an econocar. I find it insane what some people have paid for cars like the Honda Fit with nothing fancy; just the usual things like power locks and cruise.

Considering I bought when the V was in high demand (had to wait too long for delivery), and didn't get any deals, the invoice all in (taxes, air con charge, etc) was $21k CAD. If it was any more, I probably couldn't have swung it as I was still a student.

I love my V, but with a growing family, my next car would have to be bigger. If I could get away with another one, I would pay at most $2500 for mild suspension mods and a little more power. Body kit is a non-value addition to me, so it would have to be included in the base price.

How bout Krom edition like the cube and Rogue. i think both styles on each model give the vehicles a sporty and somewhat of a aggressive look.

I would pay 25K for a Versa if it were a cup car like the Renault Clio Cup street cars in France and England. That is what I want with 200 WHP and F1 tuned suspension.
