the thing w/attain or gto is that they are 450+ for just the front...

I'm thinking just a little higher for all 4...

I carry the fronts for $350+ $15 shipped from Attain.

I'm getting Attain fronts from SPL (as I agreed to this already) and the rears I'm getting from my shop.

Total investment for all 4 will be: cost of fronts + shipping. Beat that!

raretrick has a GB going for fronts and rears for $1100. SPL front/rear pricing is already below that, and it sounds like Underground can beat it easily also! Our sponsors are top notch!!1

Well Thanks!

I think NICO has been very lucky to have good shops on board.

But really, I think the sponsors feel the same way about this board.

Underground has sponsored both 240SXforums.com and zilvia.net, and they are no contest for the NICO forums.

There is something about NICO people that feels like family. I love talking to you guys and hearing about your rides. I feel like I have 10,000 brothers. Kind of cool.

Well, take care and thankyou!

I had the same idea last feb-march.

I sold a front hub/spindle for $225 shipped, and then a set of s14 and a set of z32 rear hubs for $150 shipped. It may seem that the parts will go for more, but once you actually start, you'll see that you end up selling it for a bit less than you had originally planned.

On a side note, I sold a j30 differential for $325 shipped. However, packaging a differential is a pain in the ***. If you do it right, you'll spend $25 on wood to make a pretty little box... not to mention the time and engineering it takes to build one right. Stay away from differentials :)

FYI you can't source the OEM rear flange/bearing assys(new) without really doing some homework. Junkyard parts are so last year. It took my guy 30mins and he was able to source new GRW P/N flanges from KY, overnighted will arrive tomorrow.

Today I happened upon a printed master list of Rays wheels. Most of the very best fitments are 5lug. There are a number of size and offset combinations available in 4 lug, but just that many more in 5lug. Work wheels are another fine reason to swap to 5lug.

i personally wouldnt pay that much for a bunch of used parts... attain fronts and oem z32 rears (new) would be my choice.

I was searching autions.yahoo.jp the other day and found what appeared to be a "Nissan" 5 lug conversion kit. Is this available, but just TOO pricey? Or is this what SimthSR is referring to by "new"?

this is available for the front...it's just plug and play. companies like attain and gto carry them....and the rear is very easy just using 300zx or s14 se hubs.

w/s14 se hubs it's still very easy in the front, just needs a little more work, but the savings are immense.

Nothing! 5-lugs are over rated.

The ATTAIN fronts are a rare bird because they've delivered a bearing set that fit's the s13 spindle, and has a 5lug flange..simple as that!

The OEM NA Z32 rears can be bought new from a dusty dealer shelf, maybe, or can be had by bearing compaines such as SKF. I'm in WA state and had to look as far as KY to find the bearing half of the assy. It was actually quicker and cheaper(time is money) to have them aired to us instead of search every nook & cranny within driving distance.

So to do a clean and still cost effective 5lug swap I'm doing ATTAIN fronts, OEM NA Z32 rears, S14 SE rotors at all corners, fitted to OEM calipers.
