Converting JDM cars to USDM legal has often been around 17-20k.

BUT I believe there are exceptions to this for classic cars and I belive the years you refererred might be old enough for that exemption, BUT I hope someone more knowlegdable than me will post on this.

I have nothing on importing. There is a RHD s30/s130 in the Z pics stickie I think. You might e-mail that guy and see what he knows.

why would you want to import a rhd 280Z, did the jap market ever get a 2.8? I know the earlier cars got the 2.0 when we got the 2.4 and even then the steering wheel is on the wrong side you gotta learn to drive all over again
