Mine gives up the ghost at 10psi...

It does ok at 6-7psi... But after that it just lets go.

I'm guna get an RPS clutch next paycheck... Should hold 400 with the stock disk.

Nothing more fun than blowing up your clutch and peppering your *** with car shrapnel!

I ran 8 psi in mine for awhile, it would slip in 5th if I was racing. At 10 you're looking at alot of slippage. If you a good opinion on clutches, I'd use SPEC, flywheel too while your at it. I have a stage 4 and it feels like stock, cept maybe initial slip backing out of the garage. The rest is awsome, pedal is light and it will hold more torque then most of our cars will see.

Nissan did make a good clitch, they put them in the Skyline. Mine didn't slip unitl I started running 20 lbs of boost. It held a bar of boost for a year and I don't drive like a lady.

I'd say stop at 8 psi, or have a plan to swap the clutch within a fairly short time.

I've been running my stock clutch at 8-10psi for about 2 years and it only slips at the strip, when I try to launch. Any other time, no issues, including autoX and hard mountain driving.

I'll be using a new clutch soon, however.

My stock clutch was almost new...worked decent.

Anyone who says SPEC doesn't make a decent clutch is simply wrong. Exedy does make a good unit as well. My friend swares by them. ACT...well, I tend to buy things from people who sponsor the most drag cars, SPEC is just my personal favorite and I've been using them for about 15 years.

my stock one lasted about a week at 7 psi. then once i hit boost the clutch would slip or if i shifted hard. then i swapped in a 9 psi spring and a spec stage 2 and i can now spin going into third with 235 toyo's.

i still prefer unsprung clutches, lol. im going to buy a steel braided line asap. i took out the dampener box so only the soft line is connected to the hardlien and sc. my brother and i have the same clutches and have the same power up to a certain point.... but my clutch chatters slightly. im SURE its the ballooning soft line connected to the sc. he has a steel braided line and its liek butter.
