Look to spend around $4000 for a pretty much stock swap. You can find alot more in depth answers if you do a search

To guesstimate:

S13 Redtop clip: $2500 OR S13 redtop Motor and transmission only $2000 Labor for swap $1500 Misc parts $1000

You can find cheaper prices but the best advice anyone here can give is: buy from reputable companies. Try Heavy throttle, they dont do clips but they can get you everything you'll need to make it run(wish I would've bought from them) and they stand behind they're products. You may find an importer who can get a redtop clip for $1700. Now you may get lucky but then again you may get raped and spend almost another $1000 trying to fix it when you could've spent the $2500 in the first place, and saved time cause you know you wanna drive it.

You can find cheaper prices on installs but once again you get what you pay for. This aint your average 350 with a holley Gulpinator, it's a little more complicated and unless you really trust your mechanic take it somewhere that has done it before. If your friend has a friend who "does them all the time" ask to see one he's done and decide if your ok with the quality of his work.

I left you $1000 for misc. parts because chances are your either gonna upgrade the motor or your going to find seals that are blown, you may need new hoses, etc. Hope I helped

plan on a good 1500 for an un-hacked swap. if you want to hack it you might as well just buy one already swapped on ebay, there are PLENTY of hacked setups out there.

im hitting 15k parts and labor for coilovers and stage 3 turbo. all i have to say is you get what you pay for. even after all the money i spent i couldn't be happier because everything's done right and done my way.
