how much u guys paid for a sr20 drop

Im new with sr20s, but i was wondering how much it would cost just to drop in the motor. if u guys can would u let me kow how much it cost u guys who have sr20s. thnx a lot.

are you talking motor plus installation? I paid 2500 for a 94 180sx front clip but that was almost 2 years ago. And I suggest that you do the install yourself. Its nice to know that my car was built by me. The install itself is not that hard. You can have it done and running in less than a day even doing all the wiring yourself

It cost me $2400 for a 98 180zx type X front clip with 28,000 miles on it. But it originally would have been $2800 - me and 2 other friends bought a grand total of 3 front clips so we ended up saving some money.

Free for the work to put it in ......1500 for the clip2700 for parts (preventative maintainence and a couple little upgrades)

In all honesty, save the money you'd spend in labor (900-1200 on avg) and put it into some beer (if your over 21, otherwise soda), a boombox for music, some preventative maintainence parts (i.e. oil pump, water pump, thermostat ect), a service manual for the SR (only S14) and the US 240SX, and some tools. Do the work yourself, and you'll feel more confident and appreciative in your project. That, and you'll learn alot.
