I've called a few tire/wheel shops and they are giving me different numbers. One said 85 ft. lbs. for any wheel on any 240. I have alloy Konig 17" on mine. Another shop said 100 ft. lbs. for alloy "euro-style" wheels. So I am a bit confused. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Spec is 72-87 ft/lbs. Lug nut torque is thread size dependent, not rim dependent.

I got a 1995 S14 used and inside the glove compartment was the owner's manual. According to this, it says, "Wheel nut tightening torque: 72 to 87 ft-lb (98 to 118 N-m)"

When me and my friend were working on my car at the nissan dealer he works at, we torqued my lug nuts to 80ft/lbs. Should be very easy to do with a good torque wrench.

Car: should be obvious enough

73 is a good rule of thumb for 5 lug nissans, all have same threads

overtightening will lead to warped rotors.
