IMO just get your own material and have an upholster place do it for you.

For carpet, I'd try ACS molded-carpet kits. They're $199 at JC Whitney and more info can be found at the ACS website here. Seems like something you could easily do yourself.

I had a JC Whitney carpet kit in my first 510. It was high quality, and even stayed in place exceptionally well considering that I didnot even use any adhessive to hold it in place. If you were willing to put 3 hours, instead of 30 minutes into your carpetting project, you could have a really nice JC Whitney interior.

Just make sure that you get the expensive kit. When I was shopping, they had three different price points. The inexpensive ones are just that. The mid range ones were kind of like 89 vs 87 octane... If you're gonna take the jump, you might as well go all the way to 91-93 octane carpetting.

I dunno about doing your own headliner. I tried once, I'd never do it again. It's the kind of thing that gets easier each time you do it, so you might as well pay someone who has done it several hundred times the cash to do it right.

The headliner...actually very easy, so long as you have the right materials. If you do it in leather, soak the leather first, it makes it pliable and flexible. Vinyl, have a good heat gun, careful not to melt the vinyl. I used a suede leather for my interior. It turned out really nice. Took a lot of time and patience though. Total cost, around $250 for door panels/dash/headliner, odds and ends inside.

Hmmms does anyone know where someone could get a molded carpet kit for the s13s? I really badly want one for my 93 to convert the carpetting to black from the coffee stained grey the previous owner left me. Thanks =)

its not that hard at all. If you can give your car a basic tune-up then you can redo your interior. Its mostly just common sense

Just to know, is anyone aware of a molded kit for the hatchbacks at all?
