How much would it costs to replace the electrical wiring for the KA24DE? I've searched the forums, but found no info. Also, how much would you think labor would cost?

Id imagine labor costs would be insane....but the cost of the wires would be alot too...youd be supprised how many wires are in a car. I would take it that you found nothing on this because no one would ever do it.

just the main wiring harness for the engine? Shouldnt take that long... Just get a different harness, unplug all your wiring connectors, pull it out, snake the new one in. Not that hard at all.

yeah i would only assume they would come as full harnesses to plug and play pretty much. if not you're in for an asswhoopin because just the wires to the ECU alone are rediculous.

lol, yea i was talking about the wiring for the engine itself. i might check out the junkyard or check out how much a complete harness would cost at the dealership =X

so if i were to buy a complete harness for the engine, it would replace every connection, including the wiring to the coolant temp sensor?

yup... the plugs from the inside of your car are a huge biotch to get out and if you have ABS..... thats even worse because the module for ABS sits right in front of the hole for the wiring.

Anways, have a friend to help you out snake that plug out and snake that plug in.

full KA24DE harness shouldn't run more than 120shipped. I have sold complete harnesses for $75.

yes but if the reason you're asking is one of your conectors is messed up then just go to a junkyard and cut that sensor wire off a harness then splice it into your harness... simple..
