alright here's the deal. how much time do you think it'll take to do the sr swap with regular tools, and all necessary parts? thanks for the estimates

it takes a mechanic team thats well prepared and experienced about 4 hours to take the old engine out and put the new one in

If you are mechanically inclined, 2 people, 2 or 3 days.

If you are not, probably about a week.

My swap done by me mostly involved about 40 work hours to do. This involved rebuilding of the motor, cutting the battery tray (couldnt find the right size hole saw, so I used hammer and chizel), fuel pump, pulling of old motor, wiring, and dropping new motor in. The only time I had help was during the heavy work, such as aiming the motors when stock was being pulled and sr was being dropped in. Of course, this is with all the proper tools to do the jobs (besides the hole saw).
