It is one of the most expensive MODS. So how much time, do you detail your Wheels? It's one of my pet peeves, I hate seeing expensive Luxury Cars/SUV's with the OEM turning Black.

First, my boys think I'm loosing it because I spent $50+ on Wheel Wax & Sealant. They're WTF is wrong with Meguiars?!?! A few days after picking them up, I took them off not only because I had to re-torque them but I applied two coats each.

Not only I detail whenever possible/every day when the weather is good but I'm now detailing BEHIND (inside) the spokes of my Enkei PF01's. If it wasn't such a PITA to take them off I probably would.

I wash mine at the same time that I wash my car. I spend about 3 minutes on each wheel lol. I just use a rag and the warm soapy water .

I also can't see why people would want their $40k+ car looking good all the time lol

Same, mine get cleaned when washed. However mine are dark so they hide dirt better. :gapteeth:

I take about 10 mins per wheel using griots garage wheel cleaner. but they were telling me to wax them because the lip is ionized and helps protect it from fading. but it took me 5 hrs last week to clean, clay bar and wax my car and doing the wheels also, i wouldnt have an arm left. so f-it for now. but in between washes i use the swiffer duster. I saw it in another thread a while back and tried it and it works awesome.

After washing them when I do the car I spend about 10 minutes per wheel shining them up since they are gloss black.

Not too long. A couple minutes per wheel. They're getting dirty in the back... I need to do one last wash and wax before winter.

I just use Simple Green and a microfiber cloth. Looks fine to me.

I just hit mine with the pressure washer and it gets most the crud off, after that when I'm hitting the water spots I use a microfiber towel and some soapy water to get the rest. So maybe 2-5 minutes a wheel.

I wax my wheels though and they are painted not chrome so that makes a difference I guess.
