Your BOV will probably handle 18-21 lbs, and the turbo I wouldnt go over 12psi MAX, or the turbine wheel will probably explode.

Ryan speaks the truth. 12psi is a safe max for the stock turbo. Yes, there are some people running boost higher than that.

As far as I know, the stock turbo is past it's peak efficiency at anything past 14 psi.

Yes this has been covered many times. But, the reason most people would say not to exceed 12/13 psi on the stock turbo is because of the ceramic blades in the stock turbo. When run at 14psi or higher for prolonged periods, the factory turbos tend to die quickly.

Plus, 12psi on your stock setup will still be plenty quick. Although, I don't know if I'd even go that high without some kind of tuning. Just an opinion.

none needed.

12psi. any more and you are just heating air. not making power.

you should tune if you are running bigger injectors, AFM's, tons of boost, aftermarket computer, etc...but of course in the end it's your choice. i like to think of it as an extra insurance policy, you know exactly what is going on under your hood when you run your car, and it can prevent some costly damage down the road.

and count me in for the 12psi max for stock turbo opinion. especially with factory turbos, more boost does not always mean more power. after a certain point it just means more detonation.
