is 8psi of boost too much for a stock KA24DE if so how much can i run before i need to upgrade my engine?

its all about tuning. 8 psi is cake if everythings right or optimal (fuel and timing). mechanically it can handle it.

8-12 is fine... 15 is pushing it on stock internals

I ran 12-13 for a while at about 12-13 Deg timing... Hehe.

In light of blowin motors all over I'm running 6psi at 18Deg.
