I am planning on sound dampening my Altima Coupe. I plan to do everything, doors, floor, trunk, firewall, and I may do the roof as well. I have a few questions before I begin purchasing.

How much sound deadener do you think I will need?

Does dampening the roof provide a noticeable difference?

I am probably going to buy "B-Quite Ultimate" because it seems like a good deal in terms of price and quality. Does anyone suggest otherwise? and where is the least expensive place to purchase it?

Thanks.

Well first I'd say you ned ~ 250-300 sq ft, especially if you want to double up in some areas. Always better to have more than not enough!

Regarding the rood, I'll wait for Applebonker to chime in as I did not do my roof!

I like B-Quiet Ultimate, better bang for buck than Dynamat by any measure.. but check the sound deadener showdown link for more detailed info... http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/

Thanks. I got most my info off of that website when you posted it previously. That site is what settled me on B-Quiet.
