how much should i try to get for my car?

I want to sell my 97 240sx for an s13 but my front is bashed in. Pictures can be seen at http://www.imagestation.com/al...idx=1The paint job is in good shape other than the front where it was hit, which I was quoted would cost $1k to fix by a local body shop. The car has under 60k miles on it too, so the mileage is really good. The interior is fine, has 1 slight cig burn on passenger seat, which isnt even the whole wya throug, just a little plasticy feeling mark, some people think its a booger when they first feel it, lol. It's also a base model with practically no options. It has a CD player and some upgraded speakers (not sure what they are, I dont know **** about systems, but they definately arent stock from what ive seen) in it. The biggest problem with the car is that it's an auto, and autos suck major *** (one of the biggest reasons I want to get rid of the car). I'd like to know what people think I could sell it for with the front bashed in, and what I could sell it for if I fixed the front first. Oh yeah, it also has about 2 years left on an extended warranty and the crash isnt on the cars record and did absolutely no frame damage, just outer fender and bumper mostly. I owe 9.5k on the car and would like to try not to get eaten alive on the loan when I sell it.

Hmmm, I doubt you'll make anything from selling the car. Usually 97-98's with around 60-70 go from 9-12k. With a smashed in front end, I doubt you'll find anyone to buy it for more than you owe. It's a buyer's market right now due to the economy, so there are tons of deals out there. Good luck, though!

I don't want to make any money, I'm just wondering if I might be able to sell it for around what I owe, so I'm free and clear, cuz I don't want to still owe money on the loan after selling the car.
